Booking an appointment with my chosen consultant was easy. The secretary was very friendly, helpful and polite. My appointment was confirmed in an email clearly stating date time and location. The hospital is always clean, the staff polite. The waiting area was spacious, clean and comfortable. My consultant took time to listen to my concerns and was friendly, respectful and reassuring. Options were offered and cost implication discussed.
Examination was explained comfortable, chaperone provided. Outcome was good and the overall experience was very reassuring. I feel in very good hands with a knowlegeable and conscientious consultant. I would like to rate 10/10 for the care that I have been given.
I was generally very satisfied with my stay at the hospital. I felt well looked after and the facilities are very good with a clean environment
The encouragement given by the staff is second to none. At all time I was given praise about my progress which helped no end.
I underwent surgery 5 weeks ago at the Cheltenham Nuffield, which required a 3 night stay. Nobody looks forward to surgery or a hospital stay, but I can’t fault the treatment I received. The consultant, anaesthetists and nurses all provided exemplary care and made my experience as positive as it could possibly be.
The hospital staff were all very caring and helpful throughout my experience, from preoperation sessions to aftercare. The nursing staff were especially helpful, even sorting out a minor discomfort issue during the night following my procedure. Their attention to detail was very good giving me confidence that everything was being dealt with properly.
The only problem I had was with the constipation afterwards. I'm aware of the side effects of the painkillers I had for my operation, but, a better way of dealing with this would be a big plus.
Easy parking, polite reception staff.
Excellent care pre- and post-operatively.
On the 21st June I was admitted to The Nuffield Cheltenham for spinal surgery..
From admission through to leaving after my very successful operation..Every single one of the staff made me feel cared for and went out of their way to make me comfortable and reassured at all times..Nothing was too much trouble..They really are wonderful people in every department from reception, ward staff, theatre staff and The wonderful surgeon Mr Rathnam Sundaram..I highly recommend this great hospital and staff.
This hospital has high standards and kind caring staff. I think as we come out of Covid they were rather over the top in keeping my elderly husband out when I visited my Consultant. The man who 'pays the bill' likes to also be informed. This applying to those double vacinated some time ago.
Everything otherwise was very good, but the food could have been served from a hot cabinet ensuring it arrived with the patient more hot than a little warm. A cup of tea was best avoided as was coffee, neither being the sort someone would find acceptable in a restaurant.
